A family emergency plan is an important step in preparing for unexpected events. It details what to do in an emergency and includes where to meet, how to contact family members and alternative plans. It needs to be understood by all members of your family, be specific to your family’s needs, and should be practiced on a regular basis.
It should have information specific to your own needs and those of your children and pets.
