The Town of Sidney will seek to obtain services or make its purchases from reliable suppliers, recognizing that although price is important, other elements of value, including quality, experience, environmental impact, ability to deliver at required times, service and customer relations, constitute the total cost to the Town.

Where it may be deemed advantageous for the Town of Sidney, participation in "Group Purchasing" shall be pursued.

The Town of Sidney is a member of the Greater Victoria Joint Purchasing Group.  The City of Victoria purchasing department is chairing this group.
