The Information Technology (IT) Department is responsible for the management of all activity related to the Town's computer network system, municipal Website, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone system. The primary goal of Information Technology is to deliver innovative and cost-effective technology solutions that enable the Town to meet its business and corporate objectives.

Through centralized management of Information Technology, the IT Manager works with all Municipal Departments to plan, implement and optimize the use of technology for the benefit of the Town. As part of the Town's management team, the IT Manager analyzes information requirements in conjunction with the Town’s management and staff, plans for systems and equipment, manages the Town’s system networks and general information technology requirements and provides guidance to the Town's Technology Committee.
