The Water Division is responsible for distribution of potable water to 11,500 customers as well as commercial and industry customers. We maintain 55 km of water mains with 3,600 water meters and 240 fire hydrants. Routine maintenance includes watermain flushing (cleaning), valve operating, fire hydrant preventive maintenance, air valve repair and connection installation.

In your front yard you will have a meter box (this should be along your property line). Inside you should find a water valve shut off. If you cannot find this valve, call the Town of Sidney Underground Utilities Department. |
