Please be advised that Sidney Town Hall will be closed today - Wednesday, January 15, 2020 - due to the heavy snowfall that occurred overnight.

We encourage residents to avoid any unnecessary driving as road conditions remain challenging. If possible, please avoid street parking in order to give snow clearing and emergency services vehicles additional space to manoeuvre.

Residents and businesses are reminded of their responsibility to clear the snow from sidewalks in front of their properties. If you are able, please keep in mind any neighbours who may require your assistance. Your efforts to make Sidney a safer all-weather community are greatly appreciated.

Town crews will continue to clear roads, with priority given to emergency routes, bus routes, and major collector roads. Additional information can be found on the Town's Snow Removal web page.
