Sidney, BC; The organizers of the Sidney Celebrates Canada 150 program are looking for key volunteers for several signature events taking place during the year to celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary and Sidney’s 50th Anniversary.
A Volunteer information session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14th beginning at 6:00 pm in the Arbutus Room at the Town Hall. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend to hear details on the various events and have the opportunity to register as a volunteer for the event of their choice.
Kenny Podmore, Coordinator for Sidney’s Canada 150, is appealing to people in the area to volunteer and be a part of this milestone in our country’s history.
