Vote by Mail Ballot
Registered electors (resident or non-resident) may vote by mail if they:
1. have a physical disability, illness or injury that affect their ability to vote at another voting
2. expect to be absent from the Town of Sidney on general voting day (October 20) and at the
times of all advance voting opportunities (October 10 and 17).
It is anticipated the Town will be able to send out mail ballot packages commencing on or about October 1.
Electors must complete and submit an application form to the Town of Sidney in order to receive your mail ballot.
Application to Vote by Mail Ballot (available in August/September)
IMPORTANT: To be counted, your mail ballot must be received by the Chief Election Officer at the Town of Sidney Municipal Hall (2440 Sidney Avenue) by 4:00pm on Friday, October 19 or arrange for the ballot to be hand delivered to the Chief Election Officer at the Mary Winspear Centre between 8:00am and 8:00pm on Saturday, October 20.
