Rathdown Park was created by parkland dedication through a local land subdivision.
This long, level park is unique in form as it winds through the back of a residential neighbourhood. The park can be accessed via several footpaths (from Menagh Place, Booth Place, Rathdown Road, Cleveland Road, Forsythia Place and Ardwell Avenue). A new playground was constructed in Rathdown Park in October 2020, featuring slides, swings, places to climb, and a mini zip line! The park also offers a large open green space with picnic tables as well as a baseball backstop. Rathdown Park is a pleasant spot for the entire family to enjoy.
