Q Can you show me where to locate my service connections?
A.

Depending on the age of the property and records compiled, the Engineering Department at the Town Hall may be able to provide you with an approximate location. However, as much of the information originates from sources other than the Town of Sidney, the Town accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of any information provided.

Q. Can you locate my property corners for me?
A.

If our records indicate that a Land Surveyor’s iron “post” was previously set at the property corner(s) fronting municipal property, the Engineering Department will attempt to locate those posts only. However, the Town does not guarantee the accuracy of any post located and property owners are advised to contact a licensed British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS) to establish a definitive location.
