2022 Citizen Appointments to Committees / Commissions / Boards

The Town of Sidney has vacancies on the following two Committees and is looking for interested residents to serve the community.

  • Economic Advisory Committee
    Term: 2 years
    A Town Committee to review and identify specific initiatives to support economic aspects in the Town’s Strategic Plan.
    Representation is needed from the following industries: marine, service, downtown retail, and from a business in West Sidney.
    * Meetings are held once per month.

  • Victoria Airport Authority - Noise Management Committee
    Term: 1 year
    A Committee established by the VAA to review airport operations, development plans and projects, and provide advice or register concerns about community noise impacts.
    *Meetings are held 2 times per year.

Deadline to apply: Friday, February 4, 2022 at 4:00 pm

Interested citizens are requested to complete an APPLICATION FORM for submission no later than 4:00 pm, Friday, February 4, 2022.
