Notice of 2023 Annual Watermain Flushing

The Town of Sidney will begin its annual watermain flushing in March 2023 with plans to complete the work by the end of May 2023.

Annual watermain flushing is required to ensure ongoing health of the water system. Community members may notice temporary discoloration of the water. This discoloration is not a health hazard.

To clear your water lines, turn on your cold water tap until the water is clear. Upon request, we will provide advance notice of watermain flushing for persons with special requirements.
