The Council of the Town of Sidney will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Town Hall (2440 Sidney Avenue) to allow the public to make verbal or written representation to Council with respect to a proposed Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw No. 2240. The OCP is a Town bylaw that will set broad objectives and policies to guide decisions on planning, land use, and the provision of municipal services in the community over the next 20 years.

The OCP Bylaw and supporting documents can be inspected on the project page of the Town's website or in person at Town Hall.

Community members can participate in the Public Hearing in person at Town Hall or electronically (via Zoom). For electronic participation, advance registration is required and can be made by contacting the Administration Department by phone at 250-656-1139 or by email at admin@sidney.ca prior to 12:00 pm on June 27.

Written comments can be submitted until 4:00 pm on Monday, June 27, 2022 by the following methods:
