Sidney is an ideal place for shopping.  Our pedestrian-friendly, compact downtown core has a wide range of retail shops, antique stores, art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, sidewalk cafes, book stores and much more.  One-hour street parking on Beacon Avenue is free, as well as 2-hour street parking on the side streets (unless otherwise posted).  Alternately, there are 6 public parking lots in the Town of Sidney that offer 3-hour free parking.

Don't forget to visit the Thursday night street market, held on Beacon Avenue between Fifth Street and Second Street, every Thursday in July and August from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
