Making Town payments during Canada Post service disruption

An ongoing labour dispute affecting Canada Post nationwide is currently causing delays in mail delivery. Residents are reminded that utility bills and other Town payments are still due by their regular due dates.

The Town offers several ways to view your account information and make payments without relying on mail delivery.

Check Your Utility Account Balance

Online – MySidney
Log in or create an account to view your utility balance, see copies of your bills, and sign up for eBilling.

By phone
Call 250-656-1184. Staff can provide your account balance and email a copy of your bill.

In person
Visit Town Hall at 2440 Sidney Avenue, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays).

Pay Your Utility Bill

Online by credit card
Make a secure payment online. You’ll need your utility account number and access code, which appears on any copy of your bill.

Through your bank
Pay in person, online, or by phone through your financial institution. (Search for Town of Sidney Utilities as a payee.)

By pre-authorized withdrawal
Set up automatic payments by completing the Pre-Authorized Payment Form at MySidney. Your balance will be withdrawn automatically on each due date.

In person at Town Hall
Payments can be made by cash, cheque, debit, or credit card during business hours.

A secure drop box for cheque payments is also located at the main entrance . Please do not deposit cash in the drop box.
