The Town of Sidney is holding meetings in February and March to consider the Town’s 2026-2030 Financial Plan, as follows:

  • Tuesday, February 17, 2026 – Budget Introduction
  • Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – Initial Budget Consideration
  • Monday, March 16, 2026 – Budget Deliberations

The meetings will be held at the Town of Sidney Council Chambers (2440 Sidney Avenue). Council meetings are also live streamed on the Town’s Meeting Portal.

Members of the public are invited to review and provide feedback on the draft budget. The detailed draft budget will be available on the Budget page following budget introduction on February 17.

 

To comment on the 2026-2030 Financial Plan:

  • Speak at the March 3 or March 16 meetings in person or via Zoom.
    Register to speak via Zoom by emailing admin@sidney.ca no later than noon on the day of the meeting. Registration is not required for those speaking in person at the meeting.
