The Town must be notified in advance if a moving truck will be used in a way that impacts traffic.
Contact the Engineering Department with the date of time of when you plan to put out pilons/cones to create a designated space for a moving truck. The Engineering Department can be reached by calling 250-656-4502 or emailing engineeringservices@sidney.ca.
Unreported cones used to mark a space for a moving truck may be removed by Town staff.
It is the responsibility of stratas or homeowners to notify the Town, and place cones out to secure parking for their move.
Traffic cones must be a standard size of 18” or larger. Cones will no longer be provided by the Town of Sidney
