Notice of Public Hearing – Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2293
Sidney Council held a Public Hearing on Monday June 23, 2025 with respect to a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 2275. Following the public hearing, the amendment bylaw was given third reading, and it will be brought back before Council for consideration of adoption at the July 21, 2025 Council meeting. The purpose of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2293 is to allow shipping containers on lands designated as Park by Sidney’s Official Community Plan, at a maximum of two containers per property, to support the Town’s Disaster Water Supply Project.
