A new small playground is coming to Brethour Park this year, in keeping with improvements outlined in Sidney’s 2018 Parks Master Plan and the Brethour Park Concept Plan (shown below). The playground will be centred in the park’s open green space.
Future phases of park enhancements could include a new multi-sport court, seating area, and tree plantings, along with improvements to parking, drainage, and pathways.

Thank you to all those who took an online survey this spring to let us know what elements you would like to see in a new playground at Brethour Park. Staff are now working on playground design and will be bringing options forward to Council for consideration.
