Service delays have affected garbage and yard waste pick up this week. Residents whose waste has not been collected are asked to leave bins at the curb until collection is completed, with additional collection planned through the week and Saturday if necessary.

School Taxes

The Town acts as the collection agency for school taxes, which are paid to the Provincial government.

The Home Owner Grant is a Provincial program that offers a reduction of the School Tax for qualifying homeowners.

 

Other Agencies on Your Tax Notice

Several other public agencies also appear on the property tax notice, and form part of the total taxes collected by the Town each year. The Town has limited control over the budgets and tax rates of these agencies. More information on these agencies is available through their websites:
